THE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE
The JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE will be held at 3 different Long Island locations.
- Peninsula Golf Club, Massapequa
- Heartland Golf Park, Deer Park
- Nassau County Parks, Hicksville
This GOLF LEAGUE is for golfers who have had previous golf instruction experience, either through the PAL, CYO, another Long Island Golf Camps program, or a golf camp/program with another organization. The “LEAGUE” is designed to give an aspiring golfer more opportunity to actually play golf on a course and learn to keep a score. The “LEAGUE” will have only a small competitive aspect and will be mostly instructional. The program is for golfers ages 8-17.
What the JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE consists of:
| 6 (six) one and a half hour sessions |
| Each session will consist of a ½ hour of group instruction followed by 1 hour playing on the course. |
| Hopefully enough time to play 3 or 4 holes. |
| A maximum of 5 to 1 golfer/instructor ratio |
| A different LEAGUE will be held each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. |
| Times will vary per course but all classes will begin at either 6:00 or 6:30 PM. Times will also vary depending on the season and daylight availability. |
| The Cost of the program is $325.00. *An additional charge of $60 will be paid separately to the golf course at the start of the program for green fees. |
